(10/2025) Ever tasted a Cabernet Franc that wasn't red? Now's your chance! From our favorite family owned producer in Bourgueil, Domaine Les Pins bottles authentically delicious reds and pinks at their Loire Valley property. The 'Le Folie' is the young family members trying something different, and having absolute success! Instead of allowing the skins of the Cab Franc grapes to macerate traditionally, the pressed juice only briefly comes in contact with the skins, resulting in a very lightly tinged pale copper color - not quite a white wine, and not fully orange. The flavors here are lovely, with white raspberry, flowers, yellow apple and river stone minerals. A perfect wine for soups, asian fare, or drinking by itself, it's a totally fun and delicious way to experience Cabernet Franc - as a white wine!
