(4/2025) We've been big fans of this cuvée from Jean-Claude Lapalu for quite a few vintages, and the 2023 over-delivers once again. The Gamay grapes for this wine come from several special parcels in Brouilly with a vine age between 60 and 90 years. This is darker, fuller, and more savory than Lapalu's other cuvées, and while it is irresistible now, it could easily age for a few more years.
