Vin Chicago: 88 Points
(5/2025) A focussed, lithe, easy-drinking Grenache from Catalonia in very different in style than Priorat. From three organically-farmed plots in northeastern Spain - about 30 minutes west from Barcelona - but world's apart! The palate has no hard edges and maintains good verve, weighing a modest 13.5% ABV. With bright red cherry, red plum and raspberry, subtle spices and pleasant stoniness linger on the finish of this unadorned red. A fresh, uncomplicated pleasure from Penedes!
